So, seeing as this is Newgrounds, I figured this would be a good place to ask about animation stuff. I've actually been interested in animation for some time now, and have played around with the original flipnote on my old DSi to the point where I'm not terrible. However, as every kid of a certain era knows, Flipnote has its... limitations. It's fine for getting all these stupid ideas of mine out of my head, but for sharing them?

Which is why I come to you now in search of an animation program to start doing animations and animatics for real.

It can cost a bit of money, as long as it's not too hard to use and has a lightbox feature. Preferably I'd like to find something that supports audio too, but it's not a priority

I can hardly call the canned cat food I've smeared on this site thus far "art", but it's still fun. So, I'm taking suggestions on what I should draw next. Just know that these aren't set in stone so if I don't draw what you suggest, I'm sorry in advance! Also I don't do NSFW or extreme gore, but anything that toes the line is fair game

Just thought I'd introduce myself since I'm new. I'm an artist mostly, but I like writing and playing guitar every once and a while. Probably won't share much of anything for a bit though, just until I get some stuff sorted.
